Two DTU students accused for stealing company confidential information

Two DTU students who were offered campus placements in an IT and Software firm have been accused of stealing company’s confidential information. A case has been registered against them under the IT Act.
The company designs applications for Facebook and similar media. In this company, Sunny Sharma was employed as Online Manager and Abhishek Upadhyay as Software Developer. Both were students of DTU. The former abruptly left the company after a duration of service. But both were connected via emails and chats. And it was the online chats which revealed that they had stolen the company information, client data, designs, and other important details. After the duo had collected most of the information, Abhishek also left the company. Both of them wanted to set-up their own company.
According to the company CEO Rajat Garg, both of them had packages of more than 6 LPA.
