Reportedly, an engineering aspirant who was unable to get through the All India Engineering Entrance Exams (AIEEE) 2012, has moved the Delhi High Court challenging the CBSC merit list alleging four questions were wrongly framed due to which he scored 20 marks less and also got low rank.

Pranshu gupta filed a petition against the impugned action of Central Board of Secondary Education for framing four wrong questions in AIEEE 2012, Q No. 21, 27, 32 and 47 held on May 19 and also for determining his marks on the basis of answer key which provide wrong answers resulting in lower rank to the petitioner.
Pranshu claimed he had chosen the correct options for all the four questions in view of the text book on the subject but the answer key had provided wrong answers and his marks were assessed as per the answer key.
Issuing notices to CBSE and also to three engineering colleges, which Gupta had preferred in the form to do his B Tech course, Justice G S Sistani recently sought their response by September 12 on Gupta petition.
